Can't find what you need? Email us. Details are at the bottom of this page.
- Do players need the app?
- No. Only the organiser uses On-Kyu. Players just play.
- Is it free?
- Yes, during early access. Every feature, any number of courts and players.
- Are there any limits?
- You can keep one session saved for later, and the home page shows ended sessions from the last 7 days.
- Do I need an account?
- No. Open On-Kyu and start a session.
- Where are my sessions saved?
- On the device and browser you run them on. Use the same device for the whole session. Clearing your browser's data deletes your sessions, and we can't recover them, because we never have a copy.
- Can I use two devices for one session?
- Not yet. One device runs each session.
- How do I import players?
- On the setup screen, choose "Import from a file" and pick a CSV file with a "Player Name" column. On-Kyu imports the names only.
- What if I make a mistake?
- Tap Undo to reverse your last action. You can also swap a player, cancel a match, or fix a result later in the recap.
- How do I turn off usage analytics?
- In the app, open Settings (the gear on the home page), then under Privacy, turn off "Share usage data". It stays off in that browser.
